One of our caring veterinarians will give your pet a nose-to-tail exam. This includes examining the eyes, ears, skin, body weight, and dental health of the animal. Concerns specific to your pet’s lifestyle such as nutrition, exercise, and behavior will be addressed. This is also an excellent time for us to discuss any routine diagnostic testing or to recommend any vaccines that may be due. A wellness examination can also help detect early signs of illness and address health issues before they progress. It allows us to note any changes that may not be evident at home. Additionally, all exams and surgical procedures come with a free nail trim.

We prefer that you are present during your pet’s wellness exam so that we can address your questions or concerns about your pet. We promise, no question is too small or too silly, and it is our pleasure to address your concerns. As a caregiver to your pet, we strive to build a comfortable, trusting partnership with you.

Puppy and Kitten Care

Do you have a new puppy or kitten? Congratulations on this addition to your family! One of the first things you should do when you bring your new pet home is to introduce him or her to us – your veterinary care team. Your puppy or kitten visit will include a full “nose-to-tail” physical examination. We will look for any signs of illness and make sure that your new pet is in good health. We’ll also discuss your new pet’s recommended vaccine schedule and the best plan for parasite testing, treatment and prevention.
